Attachments
Attachments to emails are typically items that require a computer to open and use. MailBug was designed to make email really easy to use, and inexpensive. Since MailBug is not a computer, it cannot open attachments, and thus attachments are removed from email messages before they are delivered to your MailBug. An exception to this are any attachments formatted in HTML — those are converted into simple text and displayed in the body of the email message.
However, if you wish to view your emails that have attachments (as well as those that don’t), you can do so by using a computer browser and accessing the free webmail account that comes with every MailBug account. Just go to webmail.mailbug.com and log in to view your emails online. In order to use this option you must set your MailBug setting “Mailbox shared?” option to “Yes” in your MailBug’s setup menu. If set to “No” then emails are automatically removed from the webmail mailbox once they’ve been delivered to your MailBug.
Another option is to have any photos attached to emails you received automatically sent to a digital picture frame. Learn more.
