Many people frequently exchange messages with their parents, children, or family members as a way of staying in close contact with them. Often these are daily exchanges, sent as short email messages, sometimes just a sentence to two. Using email for this purpose can sometimes be unwieldy and may not be the optimal way to communicate in such cases.
A better solution might be “instant messaging” which eliminates the task of addressing emails, as well as some of the delays between responses. To address this need, the MailBug app offers convenient built-in access to an Android app called “Telegram” for instant messaging. This is a popular and free instant messaging service, and serves as a nice complement to MailBug’s email and text messaging features. Telegram can even be used to send audio and video messages.
MailBug allows you to easily jump into a Telegram instant messaging session, participate in a conversation, and then exit back to MailBug — all without seeming to have to leave the MailBug app. This is an optional built-in feature of MailBug that can be enabled or disabled upon request, depending upon user preference.
To use Telegram instant messaging, press “T” on the keyboard while viewing MailBug’s Home screen. When done, return to the MailBug App by pressing the ← arrow key (next to the Esc key) on the keyboard, or by clicking on the ← arrow in the upper left corner of the Telegram screen.
