MailBug can also send SMS text messages. Sending a text message is easy — and you don’t need a smartphone or cellular phone plan to do it! The person to whom you are sending the text message must be already entered in your Contacts list screen, along with their mobile phone number and their mobile service provider.
To create a text message to one of your contacts, highlight that contact in the Contacts list, and then use the “Send Text Message” command. Alternatively, tap the Ctrl key for the Help menu and press T on the keyboard. Then compose your text message in the message window, and send it by typing Ctrl S or using the Send button.
You can also elect to compose your text message using the Compose Message screen. This is useful if you wish to send your text message to multiple recipients, or to send your message to one person as a text message, and to another person as an email. To do this, just press the Ctrl key while in the Compose a Text Message popup window, and then select the “Use Compose Screen” command.
