Phone-Related Features
Besides making email really easy, MailBug also includes certain telephone-related features that you will enjoy. It offers the ability to display phone numbers and names of callers using the CallerID service offered by your phone company, along with a built-in phone book, and the ability to auto-dial phone numbers from either the Calls list, or your PhoneBook.
Caller ID
MailBug displays the last 100 callers, and makes it easy to return the calls or add the callers to your MailBug Phone Book.
(If you have Caller ID service from your local phone company.)
Voicemail
If you have network voice mail service from your phone company, then MailBug can alert you with a blinking red light when you have new voicemail messages waiting. This feature defaults to “Off” and is activated automatically if/when you receive FSK VMWI (Voicemail Message Waiting Indication) sent to your phone by the phone company.
Phone Book
MailBug’s built-in PhoneBook allows you to store up to 100 names and phone numbers, making it easy for you to look up a contact’s name and auto-dial their phone number. All you have to do is pick up the handset to start the auto-dialer.
